Norman Matton Thomas six time Socialist Party candidate for president of the United States said this in a 1944 speech:
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism," they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." - Norman Thomas, for many years the U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate. He went on to say: " I know longer need to run as a candidate for Socialist party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform.

With a Democrat President, House and Senate in the majority and usurping the powers granted under the Constitution on daily basis I'm sure Norman Thomas is appaulding his predictions from the hereafter {wherever he may be}. He is wrong about one thing there are some of us that know how it's happening. By not being informed when we vote. By allowing the schools to stop teaching the Constitution and it's meaning. By allowing American culture, ideals and morals to be diminished by liberals. By not demanding accountability from our elected officials.By not standing up and let our voices be heard in unison. Margaret Mead said it best: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." It's time thinking Americans coalesced  took her advice.

and took back our government.
